TPC: Time Protocol Client Summary
This document describes the following: A list of the products which support this feature. [. . . ] Refer to Tech Note #4 Client and Site Auditing, for more information on this topic. If the time source is User, the TPC will never attempt to resolve the time. This page also lists the Number of Attempts per Server and the Server Timeout Period. The TPC will try to resolve the time by sending up to 10 requests to each timeserver. The exact number of attempts to make is in the Number of Attempts per Server field. If there is no reply, then the TPC tries the next servers in the time server list. The process begins with the first server in the list and ends with the last. What You Should Know · · · The time updates automatically every two hours. [. . . ] The Matrox iSwitch converts this time to the local time using the Time Zone information provided to the Time Settings page.
