Press / EN-25 ENGLISH Adjusting the projection angle • • • • The allowable range of the adjustment value in the keystone adjustment varies depending on the installation conditions. Images may not be projected in a shape of a regular rectangle or with its aspect ratio 4:3, depending on the installation conditions of the projector and the screen. In addition, stripes may appear or straight lines may bend in images with complicated patterns. Noise may appear on the screen during the keystone adjustment because of the type of the video signal being projected and the setting values of the keystone adjustment. In such cases, set the keystone adjustment values in the range where the image is displayed without noise. When the keystone adjustment is carried out, the image may not be displayed correctly because of the type of input signal. • Magnifying and searching for details If you need to find the details on the projected picture, magnify the picture. Press the key repeatedly until the picture size is suitable for your need. Use the directional arrows ( , , , ) on the projector or remote control to navigate the picture. When the key is pressed again, the picture is further reduced until it is restored to the original size. Using the OSD menu Press MENU/EXIT and then press / until the DISPLAY menu is highlighted. To select a operation mode that suits your need, you can follow one of the following steps. • • Press MODE/ENTER on the remote control or projector repeatedly until your desired mode is selected. Go to the PICTURE > Setting menu and press / to select a desired mode. Picture modes for different types of signals The picture modes available for different types of signals are listed below. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Brightest mode: Maximizes the brightness of the projected image. This mode is suitable for environments where extra-high brightness is required, such as using the projector in well lit rooms. The brightness is emphasized in this mode to match PC and notebook coloring. For Video input signals, this mode is suitable for playing gamebox-based video games in a normal living room lighting level environment. Normal mode: Maximizes the purity of RGB colors to provide true-to-life images regardless of brightness setting. It is most suitable for viewing photos and for viewing PC graphic and drawing applications such as AutoCAD. For Video input signals, this mode is appropriate for viewing colorful movies, video clips from digital cameras or DVs. [. . . ] The lens cover is still closed. Remedy Turn the video source on and check that the signal cable is connected correctly. Select the correct input signal with the SOURCE key on the projector or remote control. Open the lens cover. Blurred image Cause The projection lens is not correctly focused. The lens cover is still closed. Remedy Adjust the focus of the lens using the focus ring. [. . . ]
