The typical handle arrows will then appear at the sides of the object. · Drag the arrows while holding down the left-mouse button to distort the picture. · If you drag the corners while holding down the "Shift" key you can scale your photo. · You can rotate the photo by clicking on the cross and, while holding down the left-mouse button, draw a circle with the mouse. · If you wish to mirror your photo, simply drag the arrows with the mouse across the middle axis and your photo will be mirrored. www. magix. com Website Maker functions Animation The "Animations" category provides a large selection of animations. These funny and playful elements really add life to your page, but be careful not to put too many animations on your pages ­ sometimes less is more. 45 Note: Animations and text effects are only displayed in the workspace as placeholders. To get an original view of the effect, click "Preview". www. magix. com 46 Website Maker functions Add your own photos, videos, and music Insert pictures from the hard disk You can add your own pictures to your website using the object manager. Open the object manager via the "Objects" button and then the "My Media" category. You can either insert the photos from your Online Album into the workspace, or upload photos from your computer to MAGIX Website Maker 3. 0 via "Uploads" (uploaded photos will be visible here later). Open "Uploads" and select "Images", then click on the arrow symbol to the right (see figure). 3. · "Normal" is intended for only one or two images, or · "Express" for multiple images or entire folders. A dialog appears for you to select images or folders to be uploaded at once. In the dialog that follows, select the image (or entire series of images, depending on the method) from your hard drive. www. magix. com Website Maker functions Once all images have been uploaded, you will be able to find them again in the object manager under "My Media -> Uploads -> Pictures". Now select the image you want and insert it into the workspace via drag & drop. Integrating music Would you like your website to play music to add a certain atmosphere?Open "Objects -> My Media -> Music" to upload your music track, or use one which you have already uploaded to your Online Album. Use drag & drop to place the track at an open position in the workspace. MAGIX Website Maker 3. 0 automatically creates a player to play the track. Double click on the player to open "Properties" and then "Player Skin". "Playback" lets you specify · whether or not the music is played automatically when the website is accessed, and whether · it should be played back in a loop or just one time.
