When the point limit is reached, the unit begins recording the trail over itself. By default, the trail flashes once a second, making it easier to see against the background map. New trail named Trail 2 is created when Trail 1 is set to inactive. New travel will be recorded in this trail, which is active and visible. Trails do not have to be visible in order to be active. 47 You can save and recall up to 10 different plot trails, which can also be copied to your MMC for archiving or for transfer to your MapCreate software.
