Turning on/off of the hourly time signal · With each press of buttons "A" and "C" in the CALENDAR or TIME mode, the hourly time signal is turned on and off alternately. When the hourly time signal is turned on, the hourly time signal mark appears. Push the crown back in to the normal position when the second digits count "00" in the digital time display. s HOW TO USE THE STOPWATCH · The stopwatch can measure up to 59 minutes and 59 seconds 99 in 1/100 second in cremen ts. · After 59 minutes and 59 seconds 99, it will start counting again from "00'00"oo" as many times as necessary until it is stopped. Selection of the digits to be adjusted (flashing) is made in the following order by pressing button "C". Split A C Start N o t e : If the alarm is used for more than 20 seconds a day, the hourly time signal more than 24 times a day, the stopwatch more than once a day and/or the illuminating light for more than 1 second a day, the battery life may be less than the specified period. s CARE OF YOUR LORUS WATCH s ILLUMINATING LIGHT Press and hold button "A" in the CALENDAR or TIME mode. The light illuminates the digital display for easy viewing in the dark. · BATTERY CAUTION Do not expose the old battery to fire or recharge it. If exposed to a light of more than 500 lux (i. e. , the brightness of a typical office) for approximately 10 minutes, or direct sunlight for 2 minutes, they will glow for hours. · Since LORUS LUMIBRITE watches emit the light they store, the brightness will decrease gradually over time.
