Release Notes
The purpose of this document is to communicate any points that are not fully discussed in the RV-8 Receiver User Guide (Rev. [. . . ] A weak signal may cause the display to repeat the same message even if a new message is broadcast.
RDS-enabled stations may broadcast incorrect call letters
Note that RDS-enabled stations may broadcast incorrect call letters. When an FM Preset is saved either manually or with the AUTOLOAD option, the tuner will automatically enter the call letters of an RDS-enabled station. PRESET NAME displays the text that is entered in the NAME field (page 5-2) for the given preset. Note that if an RDS-enabled station is sending out the wrong call letters, these incorrect call letters will be automatically entered into the PRESET NAME field.
