[. . . ] Note: it may take up to 1 minute before the main unit displays the readings. radio Control Clock (RCC) After the main unit and the remote sensor have been synchronized , the SM2000 will automatically activate the RCC function. Your weather station is designed to automatically synchronize its calendar clock once it is brought within the reception range of a radio signal. There are 2 different radio signals: - DCF77 signal, for GMT +1 (France, Spain, Italy, Germany); - MSF signal, for GMT (UK, Ireland, Portugal). [. . . ] Then select the matching channel on the main unit (refer to the "Channel setting" section below). Use the and keys to select the desired outdoor channel between the 3 available channels ( , or icons). The selected channel must be the same as the one chosen for the remote sensor with the channel selector. If the channels are different, the main unit will no be able to receive the data sent by the sensor. Press the MODE/SET key to confirm your selection and go to the temperature display setting. note: · After a few seconds of inactivity, the unit will go back to normal mode. ⷠIf the sensor is exposed to very low temperatures for an extended period of time, the batteries may lose power which may cause the transmission range to be limited. The main unit can identify each remote sensor thanks to their assigned channel (channel 1, 2 or 3). If you have one or two additional sensors, you can place them in a different location in your house; in a bedroom, for example. Your main unit can collect the temperature and humidity data of up to three remote sensors. Press and hold the key for 2 or 3 seconds to synchronize manually the remote sensors and the main unit. Note: it may take up to 1 minute before the main unit displays the readings. Use the and keys to toggle between °C or °F temperature display (indoor and outdoor). Press the MODE/SET key to confirm your selection and go to the clock setting. Note: After a few seconds of inactivity, the unit will go back to normal mode. In normal mode (idle screen), press the MODE/SET key six times to go to the RCC function mode. When the reception is complete, the RCC icon will stop blinking and remain solid. note: · To use this function, the RCC selector must be set on the DCF or the MSF position. ⷠIf the unit does not receive any signal, the RCC scanning will stop after 10 minutes. Manual clock setting If the SM2000 is brought outside the range of the DCF77 or the MSF radio signal, or if the signal is interfered, please set the time and date manually according to the instructions below: In normal mode (idle screen), press the MODE/SET key four times to go the clock setting. Use the and keys to increase or reduce the values, then press MODE/SET to confirm and adjust the next setting. Time Zone: If you receive no radio-control signal, the time zone should be set to 0. [. . . ] In normal mode, press and hold the key for about 2 seconds to synchronize manually the remote sensor and the main unit. ⷠThere may be some interference caused by electrical devices: change the sensor's channel. ⷠMake sure the remote sensor is away from sources of electrical disturbance. Check the humidifier mode and make sure the water tank is filled with distilled water. [. . . ]
