[. . . ] When the alarm rings, you can press the SNOOZE button to repeat the alarm 9 minutes later. Else, you can stop the alarm by pressing either the ALARM OFF or the ALARM button once. The alarm will ring again the next day at the time set unless the Alarm ON/OFF switch is set to the `OFF' position. Battery back-up system You can insert a 9V battery in the compartment located at the bottom of the unit. It also keeps the clock working in the event of a disconnection from the mains supply or a power interruption. Should this occur, the clock will continue to keep the settings but the time will not be displayed. Maintenance and Warranty Clean the cabinet with a soft cloth moistened with water or mild detergent. Do not use solvents such as alcohol, benzene or thinner, as the may damage the cabinet finish.
