When the LCD display is dim, the AAA batteries need to be changed: · Open the cover of the battery compartment located at the back of the unit. [. . . ] ⷠPress and hold the key until the hour digit is flashing and a clock icon appears. ⷠUse the key to adjust the hour and then press to confirm. ⷠUse the key to adjust the minutes and then press to move to alarm setting mode. ⷠPress the key once to toggle between the 12 and 24 hour display. ⷠPress and hold the key to turn on/off the `beep' sound which can be heard when you rotate the unit. ⷠPress and hold the key unit the year digit is flashing. ⷠPress the key to set the day and press to exit the calendar setting mode. Press the key to set the seconds and then press to exit the countdown setting mode. Note: every time you rotate to the unit to countdown mode, the countdown will begin immediately.
