Make sure the AM indicator is lit if the time is AM and not lit if the time is PM. While holding the ALARM/RESET button 1, press the HOUR 2 and MINUTE 3 buttons to advance the time until the desired alarm time is shown on the display. Make sure the AM indicator is lit if the time is AM and not lit if the time is PM. When the actual time matches the selected preset alarm time, the radio automatically 1 1 turns on for one hour and 59 minutes and then shuts off.
