The display shows question marks representing the letters of the word you must guess, e. The number at the right indicates the number of chances to guess the word. For assistance, you can press ENTER to reveal a letter; however, this will use one of your lives. When you key in a correct letter, it will replace the question mark in the appropriate position. If you type a letter that is not in the word, the screen will tell you There is no X and reduce your lives by one.
