The product has been designed to assist you to find solutions to both simple and cryptic clues in several simple and convenient ways. These have been categorised into 250 subjects to help narrow down and reduce the amount of words offered to you. In order to familiarise yourself with all the useful features & functions please read these user instructions carefully before using this product and keep them handy for future reference. Multiple Word - Extended Search The solution may contain more than one word, e. g. Press [CLR] twice to clear the screen ready for a search. Word size? Press [4] then [SPACE] then [4] and then [ENTER], display will show: ????, ???? If you know any of the letters in the solution, substitute the ?s with them. In the example given above you could use the Extended Search mode to find multiple word answers within phrases or when you are unable to find a multi-word answer using standard search then you can try to find it using Extended Search. Press [CLR] to clear the screen ready for another search for hyphenated phrases of "3-5" words, or press [CLR] again to if you wish to search for a different sized phrase. Searching by subject The solution may contain hyphenated words, for example "co-pilot". Follow the procedure for finding phrases BUT press the [-] key instead of the [SPACE] key, i. e.
