Connecting the Power Supply The power supply kit is composed of two cables: one cable (A) connects to the LaCie drive; and the other cable (B) connects to a power outlet, such as a wall outlet or a surge protector. Do not use a power supply from another LaCie drive or another manufacturer. Using any other power cable or power supply may cause damage to the device and void your warranty. If your power supply gets damaged, a replacement can be purchased from the LaCie Web site at www. lacie. com/addons or from your local LaCie retailer. Connecting via the USB 2. 0 Interface Cable IMPORTANT INFO: You can not have the FireWire and USB interfaces connected at the same time. If you would like to switch between interfaces, you must first unmount the drive. Connect the Hi-Speed USB 2. 0 cable into the Hi-Speed USB 2. 0 port on the back of the LaCie Blu-ray Drive. Attach the other end of the interface cable to an available USB port on your computer.
