Getting Connected Installing your LaCie 700 Series LCD Monitor is easy, requiring only a few simple connections: 2. 1. Connecting the Monitor to Your Computer To attach the LCD monitor to your computer, follow these instructions: 1. For a PC or MAC with DVI digital output (A): Connect the DVI signal cable to the DVI connector on your computer. Connect the other end of the DVI cable to the monitor's DVI input. For a PC or MAC with Analog output: Connect the 15-pin mini D-SUB to DVI-A signal cable (not included) to the connector of the display card in your system. Connect the other end of this cable to the LCD Monitor's D-SUB (VGA) input. Connect one end of the power cord (B) to the AC inlet on the back of the monitor and the other end to the power outlet. Turn on the main monitor power with the switch on the back, then turn on the display with the power button on the front. Connecting USB Devices USB devices can be connected to the USB connectors located on the side of the monitor. Connect the USB terminal on your computer to the USB host port on the monitor. Connect USB peripherals to the USB connectors.
