Advanced recording Photo Resolution
You can select the quality of photo images to be recorded.

White Balance
Using the White Balance function, you can select a setting that matches the light illuminating the subject you are shooting (Daylight, Fluorescent, etc. ) or let the camcorder make all adjustments automatically. Based on your selection, the camcorder automatically adjusts the colour of the subject so the colours in your recording look natural.

Examples of the Face detection mode
When you set Face detection to On, the face detection frame appears around faces as shown in the figure below. The camcorder can detect up to three faces.

Advanced recording EV (Exposure Value)
The camcorder usually adjusts the exposure automatically. You can also manually adjust the exposure to your preference.
Select the recording ( button. [. . . ] Otherwise, you may need to use a separate video format transcoder (For example, a PAL to NTSC format converter).
The format transcoder is not provided by Samsung.

AF (Auto Focus)
A system that automatically focuses the camcorder lens on the subject. Your camcorder uses the contrast to focus automatically.
Focal length (f)
The distance from the middle of the lens to its focal point (in millimeters). Longer focal lengths result in narrower angles of view and the subject is magnified. The F-number is directly proportional to the focal length and inversely proportional to the lens diameter. [. . . ]
