C aution: A fter eac h tank, allow the en- ine to c ool g off naturally!During the break-in, adjus t the idle rpm with the throttle valve adjus tment s crew. Idle rpm are halfway between rpm when the clutch engages and rpm when the engine s talls . £ Uns crew the throttle valve adjus tment s crew to decreas e rpm. Its optimum s etting is when the engine performs bes t and the throttle control is in the high pos ition. If tightening it further, engine R P M will drop, leading to engine damage. Once you have found the needle valve's optimum s etting, uns crew it 10 ~ 20° for normal operation. Once the s etting for normal operation is done, s et the air/fuel mix-ure adjus tment s crew. S top the car and move t the throttle control from the idle pos i-ion to high pos ition. [. . . ] ⷠ­ R emove any dirt from the outs ide of the engine us ing methanol and a brus h. Do not allow fire or any exces - ive s heat s ource to come into contact with methanol which is highly inflammable! [. . . ]
