Always attach and close hatch when running, or damage from flooding may result. Do not store this model in a high-temperature/humidity area or in direct sunlight. Never put the charger and Ni-Cd battery near flammable material while charging as this may cause fires!Shorted circuits from batteries can cause fire so do NOT dissassemble or modify Ni-Cd batteries under any circumstances. Move the throttle trigger to its backward most position (the same applies for boats), then push the set-up button once. Move the throttle trigger to neutral, then push the set-up button once. If the transmitter power is not switched ON, or the receiver is not responding, pushing the set-up button will not initiate the ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) program mode. During set-up, if the set-up button is not pushed within 4~5 seconds, the ESC program mode will quit automatically without saving any data. Please read these instructions carefully before using this RC boat on salt water in order to prevent part of your model from salt water corrosion (and corrosion in general). Prior to starting your boat, please check carefully the following parts: Lubrication on this part of your boat prevents ware and also ensures minimal water penetration. Check the rubber seals on your linkages to ensure again that there are no water penetration issues and apply some grease if necessary to assist prevention. Ensure that surfaces are clean and seal the cover with the enclosed tape, making sure there are no wrinkles or gaps on the tape that might allow water to insert this compartment.
