Ensure that you correctly insert the battery in regard to its polarity (see illustration). Always remove the power supply unit 1 from the mains socket before cleaning the appliance. Clean the flower pot and the remote control with a lightly moistened cloth. There should be no objects located between the remote control and the flower pot.
