Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] The oven remains hot for a considerable length of time after being switched off. Children must be watched continuously, and special care should be taken that they neither touch the surfaces and nor play anywhere near the appliance, either when it is in operation or before it has cooled down completely. l Ensure that the appliance is unplugged and completely cooled before undertaking any maintenance or cleaning operation. Do not line the walls of the oven, especially the lower part, with tinfoil. Pour a little water into the dripping-pan to avoid burning fats producing unpleasant odours. [. . . ] should not be placed directly against the grid covering the fan at the back of the oven, or placed on the oven base. Do not use baking trays larger than 30 cm x 35 cm (12 in x 14 in) as they will restrict the circulation of heat and may affect performance. Condensation and steam When food is heated it produces steam in the same way as a boiling kettle. However, always stand back from the oven when opening the oven door to allow any build up of steam or heat to release. If the steam comes into contact with a cool surface on the outside of the oven, e. g. To prevent discolouration, regularly wipe away condensation and also soilage from surfaces. 9 The effects of dishes on cooking results Dishes and tins vary in their thickness, conductivity, colour, etc. A Aluminium, earthenware, oven glassware and bright shiny utensils reduce cooking and underneath browning. B Enamelled cast iron, anodized aluminium, aluminium with non-stick interior and coloured exterior and dark, heavy utensils increase cooking and underneath browning. Do not rest anything on the bottom of the oven: dripping-pan, baking sheet, casseroles, oven dishes, tinfoil or anything else during operation, since this could cause stagnation of the heat and damge the enamel of the oven. 4 3 2 1 Telescopic Shelf supports The oven has four shelf levels. The shelf positions are counted from the bottom of the oven as shown in the diagramm. l Shelf levels 2 and 4 are fitted with telescopic shelf supports, to allow en easier operation when inserting or removing the shelves. Pull the right and left hand telescopic shelf supports completely out, as shown in the diagramm. Place the shelf or the grill pan on the telescopic shelf supports, then gently push them all inside the oven. Use a temperature of 190-200°C and allow 20-40 minutes (depending on the quantity of food in the oven). Check with the recommendations for oven temperatures given in the cooking charts, but be prepared to adjust the temperature by 10°C if necessary. Remember to reduce temperatures by about 20-25°C for your own conventional recipes. Cooking Chart - Fan Oven This chart is intended as a guide only. It may be necessary to increase or decrease the temperature to suit your individual requirements. Only experience will enable you to determine the correct setting for your personal requirements. However, please note that the temperature of the kitchen will influence the speed of defrosting. This function is particularly suitable for delicate food which could be damaged by heat, e. g. cream filled gateaux, iced cakes, pastries, bread and other yeast products. Hints and Tips Cover food with a lid, aluminium foil or plastic film to prevent drying out during defrosting. Frozen food should be placed in a single layer when ever possible and turned over half way through the defrosting process. Turn the oven control knob to F How to Use Defrosting . - 2. Ensure the thermostat control knob is in the OFF position. 15 Grilling Grilling must be carried out with the oven door closed. F How to Use the Grill How to Use the Inner Grill Element The inner grill provides quick direct heat to the central area of the grill pan. [. . . ] Stainless steel and aluminium models: we recommend to clean the outer surface of the oven door with a wet sponge, and then carefully wipe it dry with a soft cloth. Do not use any abrasive cleaning product, such as steel wool or acids, as they could damage the stainless steel surface. Follow the same procedure for the control panel. Clean the oven door glass with warm water and a softh cloth only. Once the cleaning is carried out, refit the oven door, following the procedure in reverse. FO 0288 18 The Oven Door Gasket The correct operation of the oven is ensured by a gasket placed round the edge of the oven cavity. [. . . ]
