The top of the diverter turns, like the end fit ting on a garden hose. Install diverter and adaptor, with gasket (2 sizes included), to internal faucet threads. Note: Most hardware stores have oth er adaptors to fit different types of faucets. Place the filter in the desired loca tion on the countertop (the filter has a 3 ft water supply tubing length). 3 A OUTSIDE threads on faucet aerator INSIDE threads on faucet B OUTSIDE threads on faucet diverter C gasket faucet adaptor (use size as needed) INSIDE threads on faucet diverter 4 USING YOUR COUNTERTOP WATER FILTER Set a glass, cup, pitcher, or other container under the filter spout. When the container is full of fil tered water, close the cold water faucet. Always be sure the diverter valve knob is in ward (closed) before opening the sink hot water faucet. CAUTION: Do not force the divert er knob inward while the cold water faucet is open.
