[. . . ] Removal Remove the mounting projections of the LCD hood from the guides above and below the LCD monitor window by widening the LCD hood. En Guides Installation Removal Mounting and removing the lens cap Fit the lens cap onto the lens ring as shown in the figure. EN 12 Using the fiber cable adapter The fiber cable adapter is required when connecting the separately available UFL-1 underwater flash to the Case using an underwater optical fiber cable (optional: PTCB-E02). How to install 1 Remove the white diffuser while pulling it up, then attach the optical fiber cable adapter to the diffuser shown in the figure below. En 2 Put the underwater optical fiber cable (optional: PTCB-E02) plug all the way into the optical fiber cable insertion slot. Advance Check of the Case Advance check before use En This Case has been the subject of thorough quality control for the parts during the manufacturing process and thorough function inspections during the assembly. CAUTION: Hairs, fibers, and other narrow items are not very apparent, but they may cause water leakage. En EN 19 Water Leakage Test The final test after loading the camera is explained below. En 1 Simple water leakage test Place the Case slowly into the water. Explanatory image Hints As the Case is transparent, waterdrops entering into it can be confirmed easily. In case of trouble with the O-ring, three seconds are enough for water to enter. Remove the Case from the water and check that no water has leaked at the inside of the Case.
