1 First place a charged battery pack in the battery case on the rear section of the unit. If battery pack is not used, connect DC power to the DC INPUT connector on the rear section of the unit using the AC power adapter (AAP250) to supply DC 12 V current. 2 Set the POWER switch on the unit to ON.

6-2 Viewfinder Adjustment

Rotate the eyepiece focusing ring until the viewfinder screen image is clearly visible.
3. Brightness and contrast adjustment
When the ambient brightness changes, etc. , the brightness and contrast of the viewfinder screen can be adjusted with the BRIGHT and CONT controls.

Display the camera built-in color bar signal on the video monitor and adjust the colors, contrast and brightness.

6. If the phase control adjustment above causes a difference
in brightness between the color bars 1 and 8, 7 and D, start again from the CHROMA control adjustment in step 4.

the monitor back to the standard screen (R, G and B will all appear).

color bars H and I disappear but J is visible.

6-4 Back Focus Adjustment
3. [. . . ] · When a tape recorded on another unit is played back or used for recording, this phenomenon may occur due to tracking errors.
Noise appears when playing back a tape recorded on another unit. The transient section between scenes recorded on other units and those recorded on this unit may appear disturbed. The front section's recording level control doesn't change the recording level of the sound input to CH2. Recording operation stopped.
