Rotate MENU/BRIGHT to select "INDEX" and press it. Rotate MENU/BRIGHT to move the green frame to the desired image and press it. The selected image is displayed on the whole screen, then the screen enters normal playback. Playback Screen 36 EN Power Switch PLAYBACK Advanced Features For D. S. C. Slide Show You can run through all the images stored in memory automatically in numerical order. When a padlock mark is displayed next to the Picture Quality Mode indication, that image cannot be deleted. 1 PL Set the VIDEO/DSC Switch to " ", then set the Power Switch to " " while pressing down the Lock Button. The PROTECT Index Screen appears. Rotate MENU/BRIGHT to move the green frame to the desired image and press it. Repeat this procedure for all images you do not wish to delete by accident. If you do not want to lose important images, transfer them to a PC and save them. 004 F 005 F 006 F TO REMOVE PROTECTION Padlock mark Before doing the following, perform steps 1 through 3 above. The " " padlock mark located above the image disappears and the image is no longer protected. Repeat this procedure for all images from which you wish to remove protection. (cont. ) MENU/BRIGHT Wheel Deleting Images Previously shot images can be deleted either one at a time or all at once. 1 VIDEO/DSC Switch (Open the LCD monitor to access this switch. ) Set the VIDEO/DSC Switch to " ", then set the Power Switch to " " while pressing down the Lock Button. The Sub Menu appears. 2 PL OFF AY 3 4 5 6 7 Lock Button TO SELECT AN IMAGE BY BROWSING IMAGES STORED IN MEMORY Before doing the following, perform steps 1 through 3 above. Rotate MENU/BRIGHT to move the green frame to the desired image that you wish to delete and press it. The selected images are deleted and the normal playback screen appears. ·To cancel deletion, rotate MENU/BRIGHT to select "CANCEL" and press it. CAUTION: Do not remove the MultiMediaCard or perform any other operation (such as turning off the camcorder) during deletion. Also, be sure to use the provided AC Power Adapter/Charger, as the MultiMediaCard may be corrupted if the battery becomes exhausted during deletion. [. . . ] If the cassette is used more than once consecutively, damage to the video heads may result. After the camcorder plays back for about 20 seconds, it stops automatically. If, after using the cleaning cassette, the problems still exist, consult your nearest JVC dealer.
