Time and weekday You already set the time and weekday when you used the machine for the first time. TIME HOURS 08:45 (Example) T Press the + or - button several times to set the hours. Your IMPRESSA is once more ready for operation. 32 5 Permanent settings in programming mode Timer The following settings can be made in the TIMER menu item: Z MACHINE ON U Set the required switch-on time. Z ON/OFF U Set the weekdays on which the IMPRESSA should switch on and off automatically. E The programmable switch-on and switch-off time can only be set when the time has been set. E The programmable switch-on only works when the machine is switched on at the power switch (standby). Example: Proceed as follows to set the switch-on time to 07:30 and stipulate that your IMPRESSA does not switch on automatically on Sundays. MACHINE ON / HOURS --:-T Press the + button several times until MACHINE ON / HOURS 07:00 is shown. T Press the + button several times until MACHINE ON / MINUTES 07:30 is shown. MACHINE ON 07:30 T Press the + or - button several times until ON/OFF / SUNDAY YES is displayed. ON/OFF / SUNDAY YES 33 5 Permanent settings in programming mode T Press the + or - button to change the setting to SUNDAY NO. ON/OFF / SUNDAY NO 0 T Press the exit button to exit the programming item. Your IMPRESSA is once more ready for operation. Automatic switch-off By instructing your IMPRESSA to automatically switch itself off, you can cut down your energy consumption. If this function is activated, your IMPRESSA switches off automatically after the last action on the machine. E The programmable switch-off time can be adjusted between 0. 5 and 9 hours or deactivated. Example: Proceed as follows to change the automatic switch-off time from 5. 0 HRS TO 2. 0 HRS. T Press the + or - button several times until OFF AFTER 5 HRS is shown. [. . . ] T Prepare a coffee speciality. FILL BEANS is displayed although the bean container has been filled. Cleaning of the coffee system cannot be started although the machine displays the prompt. In spite of the empty bean container, no bean is displayed for the respective products.
