It was only designed to cool milk in the supplied stainless steel container and keep it fresh. JURA cannot accept any responsibility for the consequences of improper use. Keep these Instructions for Use close to the machine and, if appropriate, pass them on to the next user. not described in the Instructions for Use. Repairs may only be carried out by JURA approved service centres, using original spare parts and accessories. To avoid damage and any associated risk of injury or fire: Z Ensure that the ventilation slots are not covered. Z Protect the Cool Control from environmental influences such as rain, frost and direct sunlight. Z Do not put the Cool Control or any individual parts in the dishwasher. Z Turn your Cool Control off and disconnect the mains plug before starting any cleaning operation. Always wipe your Cool Control with a damp cloth rather than a wet one, and protect it from prolonged water splash. Z Do not fill the milk which you wish to cool directly into the machine. Z Only connect the machine to a power supply in accordance with the technical data (see rating plate and Chapter «Technical data»). The machine is only allowed to be used by people who can use it safely. People, including children, who do not have the Z physical, sensory or mental capabilities or Z experience or knowledge to use the machine safely must be supervised by a responsible person when using it, or be instructed in how to use it correctly. en For your safety Please read and note carefully the following important safety information. By doing this, you can avoid the life-threatening danger of electric shock: Z Never use a machine which has been damaged or with a defective power cable. Z Before taking the machine into operation ensure that the supply cable and connector are dry. Z Only connect the machine to the AC mains power with the power supply unit supplied with the machine. Z For information on what to do in case of damage, for example if there is a smell of burning, unplug the machine immediately from the mains supply and contact the JURA service centre. Z If the power cable or the machine is damaged, it must be repaired either directly by JURA or by a JURA approved service centre. Z Make sure that the Cool Control and the power cable are not located close to hot surfaces or naked flames. [. . . ] Please observe the rating plate before connecting the machine. en 2 Cleaning and maintenance E Do not use any sharp, corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects for cleaning. These could damage the machine, the coating on the stainless steel container holder and the stainless steel container. The rating plate is located on the bottom of your Cool Control. The information shown on this should be interpreted as follows: Z V AC = alternating current in volts Z W = power output in watts A T Before cleaning the machine disconnect the mains plug from the power socket. F D T Wipe the inside of the machine with a damp cloth. T Wipe the outside of the machine with a damp cloth. T Rinse the stainless steel container and the individual parts thoroughly with running water. G 3 Transport and environmentally neutral disposal Transport Keep the packaging of your Cool Control.
