At the end of the soak time the machine will stop automatically with water left in the tub. Pour the detergent for the soak programme into the compartment marked . Before starting a new washing phase, it is necessary to empty the water by selecting the "Drain" programme. This function cannot be used with Wool programmes. Drain For emptying out the water of the last rinse in programmes with the "Quiet" option or "Soak 30°" programme. If required, reduce the speed to the desired level by depressing the "Spin" button. 30 Minute wash This is a complete programme that can be combined with the following options: "Spin" speed reduction, "Quiet" and "Delay start". To be used for laundry which is lightly soiled or which needs freshening up. Final spin speed 700 rpm. Softeners Hand washed garments can be be starched or softened with this programme. The machine performs 1 rinse, followed by a final long spin at the maximum speed which can be reduced by depressing the "Spin" button. The final spin is foreseen only for cotton items as in the spin programme. Off = Reset / Switching the machine off To reset a programme turn the selector dial to "Off". Now can a new programme be selected. 15 Using the washing machine Before the first wash, we recommend that you pour 2 litres of water into the main wash compartment of the detergent drawer in order to activate the ECO valve. Then run a cotton cycle at 95°C, without any laundry in the machine, to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub. Pour 1/2 a measure of detergent into the dispenser drawer and start the machine. WASHING 5 KG OF WHITE COTTON AT 90°C Suppose you have 5 kg of laundry to wash.
