The BIOS first operates an auto-diagnostic test called POST (power on self test) for all the necessary hardware, it detects the entire hardware device and configures the parameters of the hardware synchronization. Click FINISH and restart your computer Making SATA HDD driver diskette before Install WindowsXP/2000 If you only have Serial ATA HDDs on your system, before you install the Windows XP or Windows 2000, you will need to make a SATA HDD driver diskette before you start to install the Operating System. STEP 1: Insert the diskette which be formatted in floppy drive on a system which can start OS.
