Important: unplug the appliance before all operations (adjustment, maintenance, etc. Built-in hob installation The hobs feature a degree of protection against excessive heating, consequently, they may only be installed next to furniture cabinets which are higher than the hob surface itself. Keep to the following instructions to ensure the correct installation of hobs: a) Any cooker hoods should be installed according to the instructions and guidelines provided by the hood manufacturer. B) Built-in glass ceramic hobs can be installed on any worktop with at least 600 mm depth as long as the latter is made of materials which can withstand temperatures of up to 100°C. 595 Before proceeding with fastening the hob to the top, fit the seal (provided) along the perimeter of the hob as illustrated in the figure. Before making the connection, check that: • the limiter valve and the home system can support the appliance load (see data plate); • the mains are properly earthed in compliance with current directives and regulations; • there is easy access to the socket and omnipolar circuit breaker, once the hob has been installed.
