[. . . ] HID Wall Pack - WL Series INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Lamp Types: Metal Halide 50 Watt & 70 Watt Models: WL050MH & WL070MH IMPORTANT: FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY NOT FOR USE IN HAZARDOUS ATMOSPHERES ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS A qualified electrician should complete all required wiring. This fixture will accept 120, 208, 240 or 277 Volts AC and must be properly grounded for safety. [. . . ] If supply voltage is lower, cap wire marked 277V with appropriate twist on wire connector and strip fixture wire marked with matching voltage (see Figure 3) 240 V CAP 277 V X3 IGN-02 X1 208 V 120 V COM LAMP 7. Feed the matching voltage fixture wire, fixture wire marked "COM", and bare copper fixture grounding wire through the locknut and then out of the fixture. Confirm all unused voltage fixture wires are appropriately capped within fixture body. Feed the (3) fixture wires outside of the fixture through the threaded nipple of the mounting plate. Using provided twist on or other approved connectors, connect the fixture wires to the supply wires. Connect the selected voltage fixture wire to the Black (hot) supply wire. Connect the white fixture wire marked "COM" to the White (neutral) supply wire. Connect the bare copper (fixture ground) wire to the supply grounding wire. Install fixture over mounting plate nipple and tighten locknut to secure fixture body to mounting. Install, close, and secure lens cover with (2) screws making sure that the gasket is properly seated. To weatherproof fixture, seal all holes in housing (mounting conduit, plugs, photocontrols, etc. ) with silicone sealant. CAUTION: (Metal Halide Lamps Only) Do not use lamp beyond manufactures rated life to reduce chance of lamp rupture. Figure 3 COM X2 LAMP REPLACEMENT 1.
