Retain instructions for future reference. A qualified electrician should complete all required wiring. [. . . ] Feed the matching voltage fixture wire, fixture wire marked "COM", and bare copper fixture grounding wire through the locknut and then out of the fixture. Using provided twist on or other approved connectors, connect the fixture wires to the supply wires. Connect the selected voltage fixture wire to the Black (hot) supply wire. Connect the White fixture wire marked "COM" to the White (neutral) supply wire. Connect the bare copper (fixture ground) wire to the supply grounding wire. Install fixture over mounting plate nipple and tighten locknut to secure fixture body to mounting. Install, close, and secure lens cover with (2) screws making sure that the gasket is properly seated. To weatherproof fixture, seal all holes in housing (mounting conduit, plugs, photocontrols, etc. ) with silicone sealant. To operate, restore power to the circuit and switch light on. Figure 3 COM X2 LAMP REPLACEMENT 1. Remove old lamp and replace with new lamp of correct type and wattage. Install, close, and secure lens cover with (2) screws making sure that gasket is properly seated, free of debris, and compressed to seal out moisture. Properly dispose of lamp per manufacturer's recommendations. CAUTION: Use lamp of correct type and wattage as specified on fixture. If within one (1) year from the date of purchase, this product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, Intermatic Incorporated will repair or replace it, at its sole option, free of charge.
