[. . . ] Installation Instructions Commercial / Industrial Hardwired Surge Protection Devices CAUTION: Turn off power to the electric service or panel and to equipment to be protected before installing any Surge Protection Device. All wiring should be done by a qualified electrician and comply with the National Electric Code and local electric codes. [. . . ] Make sure that the phase wires have the correct voltage level between them. Note that for the 240 volt High Leg Delta, the wire for the High Leg is colored RED, and must be connected to the leg that measures approximately 208 volts to neutral and to ground. Failure to comply with this instruction will result in failure of the SPD and void the warranty. Suggested torque values are published by the circuit breaker manufacturer. If not, turn power off and recheck each installation step listed above. For troubleshooting assistance, call Intermatic at 815-675-7000 and ask for Technical Support. 2. 14. INSTALLATION NOTE: The cover of the SPD may be rotated 180 degrees if the device must be installed in an inverted position. Carefully remove the four corner bolts, rotate the cover and reinstall the bolts. Care must be exercised to prevent damage to the wire leads to the LED indicators. WIRING CONFIGURATIONS NOTE: All `LH' units must be installed downstream from breaker or fuse of 400 amps or less capacity.
