[. . . ] HID Flood Light - FL Series INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Lamp Types: Metal Halide 150 Watt & 175 Watt Model: FL150MH & FL175MH IMPORTANT: FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY NOT FOR USE IN HAZARDOUS ATMOSPHERES ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS A qualified electrician should complete all required wiring. This fixture will accept 120, 208, 240 or 277 Volts AC and must be properly grounded for safety. [. . . ] Confirm unused voltage fixture wires are appropriately capped within fixture body. Replace and secure reflector in the same orientation as shown in Figure 2. Close and secure lens door to prevent damage while wiring fixture to mounting. Connect the fixture wire matching the incoming voltage to the black (hot) supply wire. Connect the fixture wire marked COM to the white (neutral) supply wire. Close lens door, making sure that gasket is in place and compressed to seal out moisture. To weatherproof fixture, seal all holes in housing (mounting conduit, plugs, photocontrols, etc. ) with silicone sealant. To operate, restore power to the circuit and switch light on. COM X3 120 V COM CAUTION: (Metal Halide Lamps Only) Do not use lamp beyond manufactures rated life to reduce chance of lamp rupture. AIMING FIXTURE WARNING: Electric shock hazard. Turn lamp off at least once for 15 minutes per week to reduce chance of lamp rupture. 1. Loosen mounting arm bolt (do not remove) and tip fixture to desired angle. If adjustment is needed, turn power OFF at circuit breaker or fuse box and allow fixture to cool before adjusting Do not turn mounting arm more than 360° after wires are connected.
