[. . . ] HID Flood Light - FL Series INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Lamp Types: High Pressure Sodium 100 Watt Models: FL100HPS IMPORTANT: FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY NOT FOR USE IN HAZARDOUS ATMOSPHERES ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS A qualified electrician should complete all required wiring. This fixture will accept 120, 208, 240 or 277 Volts AC and must be properly grounded for safety. A mounting suitable for outdoor use and rated for wet locations is required. [. . . ] If supply voltage is lower, cap wire marked 277V with appropriate twist on wire connector and strip fixture wire marked with matching voltage. Confirm unused voltage fixture wires are appropriately capped within fixture body. Replace and secure reflector in the same orientation as shown in Figure 2. Close and secure lens door to prevent damage while wiring fixture to mounting. Connect the fixture wire matching the incoming voltage to the black (hot) supply wire. Connect the fixture wire marked COM to the white (neutral) supply wire. Connect the bare copper (fixture ground) wire to the supply grounding wire. 240 V CAP 277 V X3 IGN-02 X1 208 V 120 V COM LAMP 3. Make sure that all wires and connections are inside the mounting wiring compartment and that the cover is properly sealed to keep moisture out. To weatherproof fixture, seal all holes in housing (mounting conduit, plugs, photocontrols, etc. ) with silicone sealant. Close lens door, making sure that gasket is in place and compressed to seal out moisture. Loosen mounting arm bolt (do not remove) and tip fixture to desired angle. If adjustment is needed, turn power OFF at circuit breaker or fuse box and allow fixture to cool before adjusting. Remove old lamp and replace with new lamp of correct type and wattage. Close lens door and secure clips making sure that gasket is properly seated, free of debris, and compressed to seal out moisture. Properly dispose of lamp per manufacturer's recommendations. If within one (1) year from the date of purchase, this product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, Intermatic Incorporated will repair or replace it, at its sole option, free of charge.
