ELECTRIC WATER HEATER TIME SWITCH
SINGLE POLE SINGLE THROW (SPST) 25 AMP (6250 WATT) RESISTIVE, 1500 WAT TUNGSTEN, 2 H. P. [. . . ] The dia- TERMINAL GROUNDING BLOCK SCREW gram on the right shows the mechanism and wiring of this time switch. The TIME-MARK is 250V LINE 1 used to line up the correct timeFROM LINE 2 of-day on the TIME-DIAL. The FUSE GRD GRD TO BOX ON and OFF TRIPPERS turn the WATER water heater ON and OFF at the HEATER times indicated by their respective position on the TIME-DIAL. Insert OFF trippers (brass) in slots for desired OFF times, but NOT CLOSER than 2 hours apart. Insert ON trippers (silver) in slots for desired ON times, but NOT CLOSER than 2 hours apart.
