SELECT the location where the Surge Protection Device (SPD) will be mounted, above or below the electric panel. Position the SPD adjacent to the electric panel with the bus bars pointed toward the panel. NOTE: If the SPD is mounted below the electric panel, the labels on the inner housing will be inverted.
