Turn the power off and start over n ths case. Channel selection Several types of channel selectons are avalable. NON-ZONE TYPE: Push [CH Up]/[CH Down] to select the desred operatng channel n sequence; or, push one of [MR-CH 1] to [MR-CH 4] to select a channel drectly. ZONE TYPE: Push [Zone] then push [CH Up]/[CH Down] to select the desred zone. w Push [TX Code Enter] to enter the TX code edt mode. · The dgt to be edted blnks. e Push [TX Code Enter] to select the desred dgt to be edted. u After edtng, push [TX Code Enter] to set. · Return to the stand-by mode. i Push [Call] to transmt. D DTMF transmission If the transcever has [DTMF Autodal] assgned to t, the automatc DTMF transmsson functon s avalable. e Push [DTMF Autodal] to transmt the DTMF code to the selected DTMF channel. 18 3 BASIC OPERATION User set mode User set mode s accessed at power ON and allows you to set seldom-changed settngs. You can "customze" the transcever operaton to sut your preferences and operatng style. Entering the user set mode: q Whle pushng and holdng [ power ON. · Turn power OFF n advance. · "SET MODE" appears for 1 sec. ] and [ ], rotate [VOL] to w Push and hold [P0] for 1 sec. Then push [ ]/[ ] to set the desred level/condton. · Avalable set mode functons are Backlight, Beep, SQL Level, Ringer Level, AF Min level, Mic Gain, VOX Gain*, VOX Delay*, Battery Voltage, Signal Moni, Vibration and Lone Worker. r Push and hold [P0] agan to ext set mode. *Appears when the optonal headset s connected. User set mode s also avalable usng a programmable key. 12 [User Set Mode] secton for nstructons regardng usng the key assgned for user set mode. NOTE: [ ], [ ] and [P0] actvate whle n the user set mode regardless of the assgned key functons. 19 BASIC OPERATION 3 Emergency transmission When [Emergency] s pushed and held for the specfic tme perod, an emergency sgnal s automatcally transmtted. When [Emergency] s pushed and held for the specfc tme perod, the DTMF or 5-tone* emergency sgnal s transmtted once or repeatedly on the emergency channel. However, when no emergency channel s specfied, the sgnal s transmtted on the prevously selected channel.
