When a message is received, a beep sounds three times, and the message icon appears on the plotter display. (The message icon does not appear on the target list or danger list display. ) The contents of the message can be checked in the receive message log, as described to the right. The message icon stays on the plotter display as long as the unread message is stored in the RX log memory. NOTE: The transponder automatically stores the received messages in the RX log memory.
