TV 14 Here is a short overview of the basic functions of the submenus Viewer Planner Gives you access to the Recording Timers and Viewing Timers. Channel Manager Allows you to modify channels. You can, for example, rename, move or skip channels. List Organization Allows you to organize your favorite lists. For Parents Allows you to lock/unlock an entire channel, change the current PIN code, and define lock of the decoder. Your Preferences Allows you to define Your Preferences concerning on-screen display as well as audio and subtitle languages. Pay Per View Allows you to purchase selected program or package of programs. Installation Allows you to set up your decoder, modem, search for existing channels, check status of the decoder, and restore the factory settings of your decoder. Help Gives you access to the help information concerning the basic functions of your decoder. WWW. I-CAN. TV 15 Viewer Planner When you select Viewer Planner from the Main Menu, you get access to timers and reminders, which have already been set. Reminders are the notifications set up in order to let you know about the programs you wanted to watch. If there are no timers or reminders set, this can be done in this screen. Pressing brings up the Setting A Timer screen. Viewer Planner Setting a Timer In the Setting a Timer screen current data is displayed such as: the current channel, current date and time. By pressing / , you can select the channel, date, start/end time, timer type and frequency. For channel, date and start/end time modification you can also use number buttons on your remote control. When you choose Recording then the timer is set, if you choose Viewing, then the reminder is set. When you set all the values, press . If you chose Recording (timer) you will be asked to enter a PIN code. It is used as a precaution in case there was an adult rated program within the period of time you set. If the PIN code is correct and all the values are acceptable, the acceptance screen will appear. Pressing returns you the Viewer Planner screen where the timer/reminder you set is shown. Note that you will also be asked for the PIN code before the reminder is accepted if the selected channel is locked. If you do not want to enter a PIN code each time you set a timer you may disable it in the Receiver Lock submenu in For Parents. See: Receiver Lock section. Setting a Timer WWW. I-CAN. TV 16 Channel Manager When you select Channel Manager from the Main Menu, you can define the content of individual channel lists as well as modify channels belonging to individual lists. The Modify option allows you to perform a number of operations relating to channels belonging to the currently selected channel list. If you choose All TV channel list you can: Move, Skip, Rename, and Hide/Restore channels. If you choose one of your favorite lists you can: Add, Lock, Move, Skip, Rename or Delete channels. Channel Manager Add Channels You can make up to 6 TV and up to 6 Radio favorite channels lists. Once you are in the Channel Manager menu, select either TV or Radio mode. Next select the favorite list you want to add channels to, and press . You will see two lists: All your TV/Radio channels on the left and an empty favorite list. Check the connection between the decoder and VCR. control (applies only if your TV set is in AV mode). Check that your decoder is connected to the power source and properly connected to your TV set.
