Tires It is important for level mowing that the tires have the same amount of air pressure. On any machine, with solid filled tires, the warranty claim will be denied. WARNING: Explosive separation of a tire and rim can cause serious injury or death. Do not attempt to mount a tire without the proper equipment and experience to perform the task. Never weld or heat a wheel and tire assembly as an explosion may occur. When inflating tires stand to one side and not in front of or over the tire assembly. Check tires for low pressure, blemishes, damaged rims or missing lug bolts and nuts. Electrical system The electrical system is a 12 volt, negative ground. Recommended battery size is a garden tractor BCI group U1R with 225 or better cranking AMP rating. Otherwise, follow battery manufacturer's maintenance, safety, storing and charging specifications. 4-3 WARNING: Battery posts, terminals, and related accessories contain lead and lead compounds, chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm. Always wear eye protection when checking the battery, acid can cause serious injury to skin and eyes. If contact occurs, flush area with clean water and call physician immediately. This gas is both toxic and flammable and may cause an explosion if exposed to flame. Use soda mixed in water to clean corrosion off the terminals.
