Check your engine oil level more frequently to avoid possible engine damage from running low on oil. 16 MAINTENANCE CLEAN AIR SCREEN Air screen must be kept free of dirt and chaff to prevent engine damage from overheating. Service paper cartridge every 100 hours of operation or every season, whichever occurs first. · Pull up on air filter cover handle and rotate towards engine. · Carefully remove air filter cartridge and pre-cleaner from base. · Clean base carefully to prevent debris from falling into carburetor. · Align tabs on cover with slots in blower housing and replace cover. · Disconnect suspension arms from rear deck brackets by removing retainer springs. · Disconnect front links from deck by removing retainer springs. Slide mower out from under tractor. CLUTCH SPRING IMPORTANT: IF AN ATTACHMENT OTHER THAN THE MOWER DECK IS TO BE MOUNTED ON THE TRACTOR, REMOVE THE FRONT LINKS AND HOOK THE CLUTCH SPRING INTO SQUARE HOLE IN FRAME. TO INSTALL MOWER (See Fig. 15) · · · · · · · · · Raise attachment lift lever to its highest position. Slide mower under tractor with deflector shield to right side of tractor. Connect suspension arms to rear deck brackets and secure with retainer springs. Connect anti-swaybar to chassis bracket and secure with retainer spring. Push clutch cable housing guide into bracket, slide collar onto guide and secure with large retainer spring. Place flat washer and clutch spring on idler pulley bolt and secure with small retainer spring. Install belt onto engine pulley. SECTION 3: ITEMS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY The following items are not covered by this warranty: (1)Normal customer maintenance items which become worn through normal regular use, including, but not limited to, belts, blades, blade adapters, bulbs, filters, guide bars, lubricants, rewind springs, saw chain, spark plugs, starter ropes and tines; (2)Natural discoloration of material due to ultraviolet light; (3)Engine and drive systems not manufactured by Husqvarna; these items are covered by the respective manufacturer's warranty as provided in writing with the product information supplied at the time of purchase; all claims must be sent to the appropriate manufacturer; (4)Lawn and garden attachments are covered by a third party which gives a warranty, all claims for warranty should be sent to the manufacturer; and (5)Emission Control System components necessary to comply with CARB-TIER-II and EPA regulations which are manufactured by third party engine manufacturer.
