[. . . ] Stop the motor if either of the following happens: - Whenever the cultivator is to be left unattended, - Before adding petrol. When about to engage the blades, make sure there is nobody in front of or close to the cultivator. Hold the handlebar tight - it has a tendency to lift when the blades engage. While working, keep at a safe handlebar's length from the blades. Remove all stones, wire, glass, metal and loose objects from the area to be dug. Do not alter the adjustment of the motor's speed regulator; do not over-rev. Spares of substandard quality may damage the machine and endanger your safety. To avoid fire risk, wait until the motor has cooled down before putting it away. Before putting the cultivator away remove any loose vegetation, especially around the motor once it has cooled. To reduce the risks of fire, keep the silencer and the area around the fuel tank free from leaves and oil. If the petrol tank needs emptying, do this in the open air and with the motor cold. Never store it with petrol in the tank, in a place where petrol vapour might reach a flame, a spark or a source of strong heat.
