Manual abstract: user guide HUSQVARNA J50R

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Never allow children or people unfamiliar with the instructions to use the lawnmower. Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their property. Thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment is to be used and remove all objects which may be thrown by the machine. Never remove the cap of the fuel tank or add petrol while the engine is running or when the engine is hot. [. . . ] In this case, do not tilt more than absolutely necessary and lift only the part which is away from the operator. Do not start the engine when standing in front of the discharge chute. Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire: - before cleaning blockages or unclogging chute; - before checking, cleaning or working on the lawnmower; - after striking a foreign object. Inspect the lawnmower for damage and make repairs before restarting and operating the lawnmower; - if the lawnmower starts to vibrate abnormally (check immediately). Stop the engine: - whenever you leave the lawnmower; - before refuelling. Reduce the throttle setting during engine shut down and, if the engine is provided with a shut-off valve, turn the fuel off at the conclusion of mowing. Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the equipment is in safe working condition. Never store the equipment with petrol in the tank inside a building where fumes may reach an open flame or spark. To reduce the fire hazard, keep the engine, silencer, battery compartment and petrol storage area free of grass, leaves, or excessive grease. These symbols may appear on your machine or in the literature supplied with the product. The handle can be assembled in "HIGH" or "LOW" position depending on how the lower handle is installed on the handle bracket pins. To install the lower handle on the handle mounting pins, squeeze the bottom ends toward each other until the handle will slip onto the mounting pins. Install the upper handle onto the lower handle, with rope guide mounting hole to right side. Install the two handle bolts through the handles and secure with the two wing nuts. Position upstop bracket on left inside of upper handle and secure with hex washer head screw. Install the control bar above the up-stop bracket, into the hole located on the left side of upper handle, with the hole in flattened part of control bar on the right side. Push in on the right side of the control bar to allow the bar to fit into the formed hole in the upper handle. Align the tapered end of the plastic fitting with hole in the mounting bracket and push in until fitting snaps into place. Put the offset end of cable into the hole in the right side of brake yoke. Insert wire "Z" bend of cable into inner hole of speed lever on engine. [. . . ] The mower should not be used on ground that slopes more than 15°. Before mowing, objects such as twigs, toys and stones should be removed from the lawn. Never cut more than 1/3 of the length of the grass, especially during dry periods. Always remove the spark plug lead before repair, cleaning or maintenance work. [. . . ]
