Please read the operator’s manual carefully and make sure you understand the instructions before using the machine. Always wear: • • • Approved protective helmet Approved hearing protection Protective goggles or a visor Refuelling. Filling with oil and adjusting oil flow. Other symbols/decals on the machine refer to special certification requirements for certain markets. Both of the operator′s hands must be used to operate the chain saw. [. . . ] The transport guard must always be fitted to the cutting attachment when the machine is being transported or in storage. • • • Place the chain saw on the ground and hold the rear handle down with your right foot. Make sure the chain saw is steady and the chain is not touching the ground or other objects. Then grasp the starter handle with your right hand and pull the starter cord.
