Locking nut Support flange Support cup Drive disc Trimmer head J-handle (RJ) Shaft coupling Socket spanner Operator‘s Manual Transport guard Allen key Locking pin Harness Spray guard Air purge English – 17 ASSEMBLY Assembling the handlebars (225R/RD, 227R/RD, 232R/RD) • Remove the screw at the rear of the throttle handle. • Slide on the throttle handle on the right-hand side of the handlebars, (see the diagram). • Align the hole in the throttle handle for the fixing screw with the hole on the handlebars. • Fit the screw through the throttle handle and the handlebars and tighten. • Put on the harness and hang the machine in the suspension hook. Now finely adjust so that the machine gives a comfortable working position when it‘s attached to the harness. Tighten the handle. Assembling the handlebars (235R) • Remove the screw at the rear of the throttle handle. • Slide on the throttle handle on the right-hand side of the handlebars, (see the diagram). • Align the hole in the throttle handle for the fixing screw with the hole on the handlebars. • Fit the screw through the throttle handle and the handlebars and tighten. • Put on the harness and hang the machine in the suspension hook. Now finely adjust so that the machine gives a comfortable working position when it‘s attached to the harness. Tighten the handle. 18 – English ASSEMBLY Assembling the J-handlebars (225RJ) ! WARNING!When fitting the J-handle only grass blade or trimmer head may be used. Sawblades must not be used. • Unscrew the handle and plastic cover from the handlebar bracket. • Place the handlebars with the handlebar holder on the handlebar bracket. Fit the handle and plastic cover on the handlebar bracket by inserting the handle in the hole. • Put on the harness and hang the machine in the suspension hook.
