However, in order for the machine to remain safe some issues need to be observed: Failure to use hydraulic hoses labeled and certified as non-conductive when using hydraulic tools on or near electrical lines may result in death or serious injury. The hoses should be regularly tested for electric current leakage in accordance with your safety department instructions. A hydraulic leak or burst may cause oil injection into the body or cause other severe personal injury. Do not exceed specified oil flow or pressure for the tool you are using. Do not exceed rated working pressure or hydraulic hose used with this tool. Do not feel for leak with your hands, contact with a leak may result in personal injury due to the high pressure in the hydraulic system. Make sure the hydraulic hoses are properly connected to the tool and locking rings activated before pressurizing system. Level as the oil will expand by heat and will overflow if the oil level is too high. Once the incoming current has been connected the single phase socket can be used, e. Turn the switch to the "Y" position in the direction indicated by the lit green lamp. After the job is done If there is a risk for freezing temperatures, drain the water from the radiator. Even if the tool does not require water, cooling water shall still flow through the radiator and thereafter to the nearest drain. The power unit is designed as a cart offering the possibility to hang the hydraulic hoses for easy movement between sites. When transporting between sites, the power unit is stored horizontally with the distribution box upwards. Tightening torque During repair and maintenance that requires dismantling with subsequent reassembly and tightening of bolts the following tightening torque should be used: M6: 10 Nm M8: 25 Nm M10: 50 Nm The hydraulic oil should be changed as needed or once each year. [. . . ] Hydraulic oil is filled through the filter at the front of the tank. Fill with new hydraulic oil (about 10 litres) through the filter cartridge. If the oil filter is also changed, fill with 12 litres of new hydraulic oil. [. . . ]
