From the browser screen, tap > . 90 Entertainment Entertainment HTC Music Listening to music Enjoy your favorite songs on HTC One mini 2 using the Music app. When you open the Music app for the first time, you'll be asked if you would like to automatically download related content, such as album covers and artist photos, to HTC One mini 2. Tap the onscreen icons to control music playback, repeat songs, and more. Press and drag your finger across the progress bar to jump to any part of the song. (Shuffle is off when button is gray. ) Cycle through the repeat modes: repeat all songs, repeat current song, and don’t repeat. Play your music on a DLNA® compliant TV or audio system, HTC Media Link HD, or stereo Bluetooth device. Minimize the Now playing screen to continue browsing your music collection. When you're listening to music and the screen display turns off, press POWER to turn the screen back on and control the music playback directly on the Lock screen. 91 Entertainment Playing music from the Lock screen If you want to launch the Music app directly from the Lock screen, go to Settings, and then tap Security > Unlock Music automatically. You can: § While playing music and the screen turns off, press POWER to turn the screen back on, swipe down from the Music widget, and then tap on the widget. § If you've added the Music app as a shortcut on the launch bar, drag it up to open the Music app. HTC BoomSound profile With the HTC BoomSound profile turned on, you'll still enjoy enhanced audio quality even when you plug in a headset. Listen to stronger bass, clearer vocals, and finer details in songs and videos, especially when played in Music and Gallery apps. To turn the HTC BoomSound profile on or off, go to Settings, and then tap the BoomSound On/Off switch. Music playlists Personalize your music experience by creating music playlists. Make a playlist containing just your favorite songs or create one to match your mood for the day. To add songs, tap beside the title text box, browse your music collection, and then tap a song to add. You'll find newly created playlists on the Music app's Playlists tab. To edit or delete a playlist you've created, from the Playlists tab, tap a playlist to open it, and then tap > Edit playlist or Delete. Press and hold next to the song title you want to move, and then drag it to its new position. Type the new name of the playlist in the title text box. 92 Entertainment Adding a song to the queue While playing a song, you can also browse other tracks stored on HTC One mini 2. Add a song or an album to the queue so it plays when the current playlist has finished playing. Do any of the following: § Browse for the album or playlist that you want, press and hold it, and then tap Add to queue. § Browse for an artist or song, and then tap The songs you've added appear on the Queue tab. If you already changed the TalkBack shortcut gestures, check your TalkBack settings for the appropriate gesture. To cancel an action, drag your finger to your starting position.
