Only use position 1 in the oven when cooking with the rotisserie spit. 21 THERMOSTAT indicator light GB When this is illuminated, the oven is generating heat. It switches off when the inside of the oven reaches the selected temperature. At this point the light illuminates and switches off alternately, indicating that the thermostat is working and is maintaining the temperature at a constant level. Oven light This is switched on by turning the SELECTOR knob to any position other than “0”. By selecting 8 with the knob, the light is switched on without any of the heating elements being activated. 2 DOUBLE GRILL mode The top heating element and the rotisserie spit will be activated. The grill is also highly recommended for dishes that require a high surface temperature: beef steaks, veal, rib steak, fillets, hamburgers etc. The GRILL and DOUBLE GRILL cooking modes must be performed with the oven door shut. [. . . ] The cover If the cooker is fitted with a cover, this cover should be cleaned using lukewarm water. It is possible to remove the cover in order to make cleaning the area behind the hob easier. Open the cover fully and pull it upwards (see GB Cleaning the appliance !Do not use abrasive or corrosive detergents such as stain removers, anti-rust products, powder detergents or sponges with abrasive surfaces: these may scratch the surface beyond repair.
