Aquasensor (DWF 61 only) The Aquasensor is an optical measuring device with which the cloudiness of the water in the dishwasher is measured. A photoelectric sensor is used to detect the degree of soiling in the water, caused by dissolved food particles such as egg, fat and rolled oats, etc. The Aquasensor functions during all programmes that include a pre-rinse cycle. If the water is still `clean' at the end of the pre-rinse cycle, then the same water is used for the following wash cycle. If the water is dirty, it is pumped out of the dishwasher and replaced by fresh water. - 19 Washing Dishes Programming the timer You can delay the start of a programme in increments of one hour for up to 24 hours.
