Always switch off and remove the plug before cleaning the appliance or attempting any maintenance. Please note to release: press in hose connector and pull out (Picture 1) To assemble the extension tubes to the floor nozzle and the handle - Push and twist to lock. Simply turn the clip ring and pull the handle to release the ZOOM-tube. (Picture 9) REMEMBER : Do not position the cleaner above you when cleaning stairs. (Picture 11) Switch off at end of use - Press the on/off pedal to switch off the cleaner. (Picture 12) Parking and storage - The extension tube can be parked for temporary storage during cleaning or in the storage position when not in use. (Picture 3) Extension tube length - Adjust the length of the metal tube to suit your height as shown. USER CHECKLIST The following is a simple user checklist before calling your local Hoover Service.
