Communications Via LONWORKS® The Q7750A uses a transformer-coupled communications port with encoded data presented to controllers and devices on the LONWORKS® at 78K bits per second. The LONWORKS® is insensitive to polarity, eliminating installation errors due to miswiring. With the addition of a Q7751A Router, the maximum allowed number of nodes increases to 120 or 60 per LONWORKS® segment. The recommended wire for the LONWORKS® will level IV, 22 AWG (Belden part number 9D220150) or plenum rated Level IV, 22 AWG (Belden part number (H2201504) non-shielded, twisted pair, solid conductor wire.
